We are awesome! Long live LOST! By the way I was looking back at the autopsy report and it had an emblem on it that I couldn’t make out. Possible Dharma? Don’t know. Why would they zoom in on it unless something suspicious. Plus, my g/f is a speech pathologist and she swears that during Ben and Juliet’s silent conversation that Ben said You will die. But who knows. Even though Ben was upside down she said she could make out certain syllables and that was her educated guess.

great convos on here. sowi 2 say this one, but whats up with the ratings. I thought this was one of the best lost epis so far and it gots its lowest ratings ever. it was in second place at that hour and not even sure it made top 10. personally i dont care for ratings, but i do if it means they gona cancel my fav show.

Hey Lost Fans! Just a question regarding Ben..During Season 3 Ben disclosed to Jack that he did indeed have a tumor in his back and asked Jack if he believed in God. To which Jack responded “Do You?” Then Ben commented that after finding out about the tumor a spinal surgeon fell from the sky. Point being, this all supposedly occurred before the implosion and what Tom referenced last week as “before the sky turned purple….SO, why did Ben never seek treatment elsewhere?

John,
if i’m reading this right I think your mistaken. the sky turned purple when jack, kate and sawyer were on the docks(ready to be taken to their new island). That convo between ben and jack took place on the new island, is jacks holding cell. so that convo took place AFTER the sky turned purple.

he’s saying that ben knew of the tumor before the plane crashed, 2 months before the hatch implosion.
so, the fact that they didn’t ’ship him out’ to get treated must be totally unrelated to the numbers not being input or the purple sky

My crazy theory:
The writers want us to think Juliette and Ben had a romantic relationship. I doubt it now, considering her rocky marriage, short time on the island, and coersion into staying amongst people she doesn’t trust. But what of the “history” they shared that keeps being referred to?
I think Ben may actually be the son of Juliette’s sister, given miracle life by J.’s research, and age acceleration through Hanso experiments. One hint is the X-rays that Juliette thinks belong to an elderly woman, but are from someone in their 20s. Perhaps Ben is a “born leader,” engineered and trained by Darma to run their little society.

This site and you guys who post on it are amazing. Great work. It blows my mind that NO ONE (unless I missed it) has commented on the fact that the smoke monster is present in the scene where the bus hits Juliet’s ex. Everyone is so wrapped up in seeing the Apollo logo on the side of the bus that they have missed what I think is the biggest reveal of the episode. If you freeze and advance a frame at a time, you will clearly see a wall of black smoke in front of the bus. As far as I’m aware, this is the first time we’ve seen Smokey OFF the island, if Juliet’s flashbacks are indeed “off” the island. Again, I can’t believe there hasn’t been discussion about this.
