Yes, it is true… thanks to steph for forwarding this. It seems when LOST returns it will have a new opening sequence and theme song. It got leaked and here it is (click box to play):

jeeeeeez docartz you had me going there for a second i was like wot the hell is this crap how can this be the new title sequence! i thought before watching this vid the reason they may have pulled the original title sequence was because so many shows now BECAUSE OF LOST are dropping title sequences and jus having the title appear and thats it! don get me wrong i love losts title sequence but other shows please dont kill of the title sequence when its done right its awesome buffy the vampire slayers title sequence anyone?

I like how people actually think they’d use a “14 Year Old Girls” song for an intro to lost. LOST already has a theme song. That “beewooweewooweeeeee” noise at the beginning is the theme.
