I had the pleasure of attending a screening of We Are Marshall last night. Gut reaction: FANTASTIC film, and a real eye opener both for Matthew Fox fans and critics,
Matthew Fox was amazing in this film. After being exposed pretty much entirely to Matt Fox through the character of Jack, I was really unprepared for his performance as "Red" in Marshall. Foxy has CHOPS! The rumors of a supporting actor nom aren’t so out of line. Fox plays "Red" on a more level playing field emotionally than Dr. Jack, a quieter, more socially intelligent man than the island bound surgeon he is best known for; yet, the quiet times are impregnated with nuance. Don’t get me wrong, the other Matt was good too, but our Matt brought the goods! See the movie, discuss the movie, and win prizes! The deadline is Tuesday.

Do you look good in green?

I saw it too, and I have to agree that it was a good film. It’s very nice film, and Matt was excellent just as Doc has said. I highly recommend it, even if you don’t like american football.

You mean you haven’t gone back and watched Party of Five on DVD? Some megafan you are.

Yes, I thought it was a wonderful, inspirational movie. Matthew Fox definitely delivered a great performance. I almost forgot he was Jack. I have only seen him as Jack so it is hard. It was awesome anyways!
