Congratulations to the Number 23!
After experiencing a whirlwind career as a frequent guest star of LOST, the number 23 is finally poised for big screen success. In its eponymous feature debut "The Number 23", 23 (aka Twenty-Three) plays a number that seems ingrained in every facet of Co-Star Jim Carrey’s life. The interplay between Carrey and 23 is just chilling; for instance in one scene Carrey begins to comprehend that 23 is present in all factors of his life, even if it requires longhand division to come to the conclusion. Math being a numbers strong point, 23 plays these scenes with a cold indifference that just sends a chill down your spine.
23 is not the first of the LOST numbers to hit the big time, 4 is currently wrapping production on the sequel to its smash hit "The Fantastic 4". 8 was immortalized by surrealist film maker Federico Fellini in 1963’s "8 and a half", but stayed relatively under the radar until LOST brought the octal-onesome much overdue attention. Currently, 8 is wrapping post production on a French independent film titled, appropriately, "8".
15,16, are busy trying to find work, but 42 says he’s just happy to have a steady gig on LOST. "Once you get past 40, it can be hard to move ahead in Hollywood. We wish it wasn’t true, but it is."

Don’t forget about 16 Blocks.

Don’t forget 23’s recent appearance in Dr Pepper commercials. I hear 15 is getting a Nike endorsement.

Don’t forget 8’s role in Eminem’s Bio-flick.

23 works full time as David Beckham’s number in Real Madrid so I guess 23 did this film on a hiatus or something.

Dude this is so random… which is awesome cause random is the spice of life…

42 held and continues to hold the title of “the answer to the ultimate question”. the answer of which is a little thing we like to think of as “life, the universe and everything”
Comment by Arthur Dent — December 21, 2006 @ 7:39 pm
42 is the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything, so it definitely has its place.

23 is older then Lost. you should read the R.A.Wilson’s Illuminatus! to .
and yes, 42 is from Hitchhiker’s guide to galaxy.

42 Considers his role in Hitch-hiker’s to be an unflattering cameo because the role had no meaning and was so random. Originally the answer was supposed to be cheese or something.

Hell, this is Joel Schumacher’s film? I hate him. One of the worst directors ever.
“for instance in one scene Carrey begins to comprehend that 23 is present in all factors of his life”
compare with this:
“Robert Anton Wilson’s book, Cosmic Trigger I: Final Secret of the Illuminati, lists 23 as a cosmic number with strong connections to arcane magic and synchronicity. Numerous people have claimed to see ’23’s everywhere (the 23 curse) prior to enormous success and fruitfulness.”
It’s from wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_(number) )
Also, I am absolutely sure that 42 is related with “the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything”. It’s just can’t be coincedence!

When I asked 42 about his Hitch-hiker role he said he considered it his “Burt Reynolds in Boogie Nights” moment. Which probably means more to a number then us.

In a Tarot deck, 2 is the number of balance, three is the number of synergy, and five is the number of strife. Therefore, if things always changed, or if they never changed, we would be all right. But when both happen, we exerience troubling times. After the Rodney King verdict, a Korean shopkeeper during the LA riots can be clearly seen shooting at looters from teh roof of a building in front of a large sign proclaiming the number 23…and nothing else. September 23rd is the fall equinox; the dog days of summer begin on July 23rd. Nothing can explain it. Nothing can stop it. Either you understand it…or you don’t.
