You voted on the best, and worst, moments of the mini-season (barring the finale), and here is what you came up with (discrepancies in totals are due to votes for “other”):

What the heck happened to poor Juliet!? She was like hands down the best, and these polls reflected it for a while! Do all the Paulo voters hate her for some reason? What has everyone got against complex, well-portrayed, dynamic mysterious characters?
I certainly hope Elizabeth Mitchell and the writers don’t sumble in here and take this seriously!

I completely agree. Lost has been an amazing experience with a flawless cast…nikki and paolo are ruining that for me. they are a disaster…im seriously hoping the polar bear eats them. they are SO DISPLACED. How could anyone like them? They arent even that much hotter htan existing cast members…what is wrong with people…is there a way to convince writers to edit them out of hte post hiatus episdoes?

I think that Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) was unjusticed by the votes… To me, she’s the best new feat in Lost.
But Rodrigo Santoro is a great actor. If you hate him, that’s because he’s doing a good job, after all, from the 5 phrases Paulo ever spoke so far, we could get he’s an arrogant and self-centered guy… I blame his “gratuitous” appearances on bad writting, there, i said it… lol

It’s obvious, The Other Others hacked into the site to make Juliet lose. Therefor The Other Others make The Other Others leader Paulo the best ever!

Yes, I’m agree, Elizabeth Mitchell is the best newcomer.. she has done an excellent work. The people who votes in here don’t appreciate the complexity developed of her character.
Rodrigo isn’t appear very much, at the moment i think Paolo isn’t an interesting character, i hope that this change for the rest of the season.
On the other hand I think that Ben is far the most improved character.

I agree with the above. These results have been skewed by the Brazilians!
I think the vast majority of us feel that the addition of Nikki and Paulo to the cast was unnecessary… Hopefully thier chars will be written out ASAP. Personally, it’s not that I HATE these new actors, it’s just that I feel they are not at all necessary to the storyline. They don’t do anything for us. At all. Lost already HAD enough sex appeal, thankyouverymuch!
For my 2 cents, Juliet is my favorite new char and Locke shows the most improvment…
I hope the writers/producers/actors do not take the above poll seriously…

I agree that Juliet is such a great addition. I think her character is very intriguing and Elizabeth Mitchell has done such a great job. She was BY FAR my favorite new addition to the cast. I don’t understand how she scored so low on the poll. Even with the Brazilian votes for Paulo. How did she even score lower than Patchy? We saw him for like 2 seconds and we don’t even know who he is!

You don’t have this Brazillian skew on DarkUFO’s site (Best newcomer: Juliet, 75%). It would be interesting to see, how many votes were totally made? Then you could compare the results and determine the Rodrigo-Fan-Offset.
