LOST - I DO Episode Preview! *Spoilers*

I’ve spoken to couple of folks who claim to have seen tonights episode.

First up, I’ve spoken to two fans so far who have had the privilege of seeing this episode already. One was of the mindset that it was good, but in terms of revelations don’t expect to receive knowledge that will blow you away; instead, expect a cliff hanger that will leave you with a big question about a particular character and have you questioning much of what you have seen so far this season.

The second downplayed this to an extreme degree; stating that while the episode is good the cliff-hanger seems thrown together at the last minute and is a real cheat because it makes you feel like you’ve wasted some time this season.

Before you ask, NO I do not know how it ends. Both of these assessments make me say “WTF”, but not nearly as much as the recent photo that was secretly submitted to our good buddy DarkUFO (click pic to visit his post):

Why the hell is Jack in one of the bear cages? And why do both assessments of the episode seem to indicate that something has not been as it seems all along. Was Jack put in the cage? Is somebody conspiring with the others? Has everything that happened been inserted in somebody’s head by the monster? Is this snap-shot from the final scene of tonights episode?

Image processing savvy readers will notice an interlaced motion signature in this pic. That means this pic was captured from video. It could be a deleted scene, but from what we have seen from tonights previews (click here for a scene from tonights episode) it seems like Jack is pretty ignorant to the presence of the cages. SO, what does this picture mean. What is Jack looking at? Is he standing there looking across at Sawyer and Kate, together, in their cage?

Another piece that surfaced is talk from Carlton and Damon that tonights episode is NOT where the “game changes”. That shift will take place in the next portion of the season. (Source — Ask Ausiello)

So any major shift in plot that happens today would seem to be something that would be self contained, within this group of characters we have been focusing on this mini-season.

Another thing to consider is the fact that this is a Kate-Centric episode; it should be expected that the way this episode ends will be connect with her back story which concerns her wedding, under a different name. It has been stressed from a few insiders that Kate’s character is named “Monica” in her flashbacks. What if it isn’t really a Kate flashback? Maybe it is the flashback of someone who looks a lot like her? I know, I’m crazy. Can’t wait for tonight!
