That looks Bidass. I like John hunting, it was cool to see him do in the other flashbacks.

Nice hat. Seriously. I like it.
Man I can’t wait for this season to get rolling.

Hmm so looks like Mr. Friendly/Tom is in locke’s flashback…. interesting
Comment by Tapdawg — September 25, 2006 @ 7:26 pm
we already learned how locke got his mad hunting skills, from his father, Anthony Cooper. In the flashbacks in the episode ‘deux ex machina’ that locke went hunting with his dad when Cooper was trying to convince john that he loved him in order to steal his kidney. So we already know how mr locke learned to hunt. and i ask, am i the only one watching this freakin show, that was ridiculously obvious and its embarassing to this site that that made it onto the main page…………………….Get it right next time or don’t post at all
Comment by Revolution — September 25, 2006 @ 11:32 pm
Sheesh revolution, what did you come over from Wikipedia? Actually Deux Ex Machina did not at all illustrate how Locke got his “mad” hunting skills. He just popped a duck with bird shot, not at all in the realm of tracking and killing with your bare hands.

where is mr. friendly in the flashbacks???
Comment by asdf — September 25, 2006 @ 11:59 pm
Don’t think he is in this one. Getting word on a spoiler of interest right now. Look for a post soon.

Whats the deal with that young kid that seems to be hanging around with Locke I wonder?
Comment by Todd — September 26, 2006 @ 3:12 am
The younger guy hanging around Locke is wearing a Geronimo Jackson t-shirt. Maybe its just coincidence but he looks like he could be related to Locke. So glad to know that Locke is still around.
Comment by another — September 26, 2006 @ 1:40 pm
That is not Mr Friendly, it is a completely different actor and maybe Locke will ask the boy whats the deal with Geronimo Jackson. If it is Lockes son then he never gave us any idea he had a son and where is brother from foster care?
Comment by Brinson — September 26, 2006 @ 2:02 pm
that is m.c. gainey in both of those pictures… how can you not tell?
Comment by Tapdawg — September 26, 2006 @ 7:49 pm
I have to admit the more I look at it, it might be Mr. Friendly.
Comment by DocArzt — September 26, 2006 @ 8:56 pm
I agree with Doc the more you look at it it kinda looks like him but I still don’t think it is him but we will find out very soon.
Comment by Brinson — September 26, 2006 @ 9:12 pm
you know the more i look at his img picture, and the picture of the mysterious guy in red, they do look alike. hmm why is Locke hanging out with Tom a.k.a. Mr. Friendly…Well at least Locke is alive! (I knew it all along!)
Comment by Rachel — September 26, 2006 @ 10:03 pm
I’m surprised that we’re arguing about who hte plaid guy is as opposed to “Why is Locke holding up written instructions to Charlie??” .. a co-worker mentioned he remembers Charlie’s ears bleeding in the final scene with him and Claire… did he become deaf???
Comment by alarose20 — September 26, 2006 @ 10:34 pm
not really a spoiler…because it doesn’t tell us sheeet…
Comment by techteach — September 27, 2006 @ 12:13 am
either that or locke lost his speech… i’d assume its your idea thats correct and not mine.
Comment by Tapdawg — September 27, 2006 @ 1:09 am
That’s Chris Mulkey, formerly Leo Johnson on Twin Peaks back in the day. Kinda cool given TP and Lost where/are driven by mystery and off the beaten path and both were/are ABC shows. So no, that is not Mr Friendly, but given the physical similarities with Friendly, I could see yet another father complex thing that runs through Lost with Mr. Friendly and Mulkey.

thanks for figuring that out for us, schadenfruede. But wow they look familiar:

Why is there no mention on this site that “Further Instructions” has been switched with “The Glass Ballerina”?
Comment by Dave — September 27, 2006 @ 5:30 pm
That IS Leo from TP! Wow I knew he looked familiar just couldnt place where I had seen him last. Plus he has aged. I love seeing actors from Twin Peaks in other things. Thanks for clearing that up.
Comment by another — September 28, 2006 @ 3:59 pm
The guy in Red flannel IS Chris Mulkey from Twin Peaks - but he DID NOT play Leo Johnson, he Played the character Hank Jennings.

um - did anyone else notice that the plot synopsis was different to what actually happened?
Claire did not find anyone having sex - and Hurley ahrdly discussed what happened with the Others.
I’m surprised no-one else has picked up on this yet.
