Lindelof has disclosed some secrets of what to expect from the much anticipated season 2 finale;  and what he has to say sounds suspiciously like the official synopsis released on AbcMediatNet!  Has Lindelof started speaking PR?

Lost (ABC, Wednesdays, 9 p.m. ET): "Nothing short of epic" is what show co-creator Damon Lindelof promises of "Lost’s" May 24 season finale. "[There will be] a father’s journey to get his son back. The answer to the questions that surround the hatch — and the return of the man who first asked them." (That’s gotta be Desmond, right?) And, of course, "a wildly outside-the-box new mystery will lay the entire foundation for Season 3" — and drive us crazy all summer long.

 So it appears this is not so much an extension of the Season One style of finale:  leave em hanging on a major revelation;  this time we will have something entirely new to chew on.
