LOST — The haunted set?

Lost Newswire — April 13, 2006 at 3:28 am by docarzt

Lost star Naveen Andrews was forced to hold an exorcism when his co-stars became uncomfortable while filming scenes for the hit show on the site of a mass murder.

The stars film most of the scenes for the show on location in Hawaii, but cave scenes are shot at a large warehouse on the island where a brutal murder occurred.

Several members of the cast became uneasy filming scenes in the makeshift cave and insisted that an exorcism be held to remove any negative spirits.

Andrews, who plays Sayid Jarrah, explains, "Something heavy went down in the place where we shoot, which is an old abandoned kind of warehouse.

"It was a murder - a mass murder - I think about four or five people were killed.

"I didn’t personally notice it, maybe I’m not sensitive enough, but some people did and there was a ritual exorcism. It sounds really dramatic doesn’t it? I guess it was!"
