Lost — Maternity Leave Recap

Lost Recaps — March 1, 2006 at 7:13 pm by docarzt

LOST Season two, Episode fifteen "Maternity Leave" achieved a level of satisfaction, in my opinion, that is rare even for "LOST". The uninitiated would no doubt be completely clueless to the delectible contents of this episode. "LOST" die-hards are, likely, salivating at the perfect balance of revelation and the deepening of the "LOST" mysteries. There were as many subtle "blink-or-you’ll-miss-them" ticklers as there were stark truths.

The one thing I was waiting to see was how much — if any — new Ethan footage we would have; I’m happy to report that William Mapother’s inconic "LOST" contribution figured quite prominently indeed, in many surprising ways.

We learned a little bit about Dharma, a lot about the "others" (those rags are costumes, and that aint Zeke’s real beard.) In fact, there is a major player amongst the others who we have yet to meet. Possibly.

The reappearance of Desmond’s mystery medicine, and the affirmation of it’s purpose as a "vaccine", raises new questions about just how involved the mysterious Scot was with the Dharma boys and girls.

Tune in tomorrow for the complete recap with screen caps. In the meantime, why not sign in at the forums and give us all your opinion? ——–
