Forget the others, beware of The-Castaways!
Received an email from the-castways.net today which sent my antivirus screener into a tizzy. Turns out the email, which is announcing the giveaway of a trip, contains a trojan.
How do I know it really came from www.the-castways.net? Behold:
Notice that the IP of the mail server…
Matches the IP of www.the-castaways.net
I’ve attempted to contact the-castways.net about this to see what their take is on it, but it appears that the-castaways is down at the moment. Similar reports are popping up on other forums as well. So suffice to say, if you this email do not trust the attatchment.
