Spoiler Font is your Friend!

The clamp down is on! In an effort to make The Tailsection more friendly towards those of us who love LOST, but hate being spoiled, we are implementing some rules regarding spoilers.

Here are the rules:

1. Any part of a post which relates to information which has not yet aired, and is not in the designated spoiler forums, must be sanitized with the spoiler tag. What is the spoiler tag, you ask?

THIS is the spoiler tag. To use the spoiler tag drag the cursor over th text you want to hide with your mouse and click the S icon you see circled above.

The result will be someting like this:
This is hidden text!
In order to read the spoilers you have to drag the cursor over the hidden text. It’s kinda like a magic decoder ring, cool in otherwords.

2. Any posts which are solely related to unaired material from future episodes of LOST belong in the spoiler forum. Period. With the exception of speculation. That belongs in speculation.

3. No spoiler info in post titles. No exception. If there are spoilers inside it would be nice to let people know that, but as long as you use the spoiler font you will be spared the rod.

On my side of things, I’m in the process of implementing some similar changes to the front page to keep the spoilers out of the lead news.
