Speculation is rife that ‘Lord of the Rings’ star Dominic Monaghan is planning to propose to girlfriend, Evangelina Lilly after he was spotted shopping for rings.

The couple met on the set of hit US show ‘LOST’ and have worked hard to keep their their romance low-key. However, recent photos of them wandering hand in hand along the beach on set, looking extremely loved up, have appeared in numerous magazines. Now pals of the pair say plans are in the pipeline for them to exchange vows.

Monaghan was taking a break from filming on the programme’s Hawaiian set when he was seen looking at diamond eternity bands on the exclusive Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills, California.
